綠卡申請自己來：cover letter list 這樣寫

申請綠卡的過程中，想到曾經也幫著一群研究所同學們寄出 I-20（學生簽證）以及當時所需的一堆零零種種的附件，因為多是美國學校那邊（San Diego State University）的教授替我們辦理，我只在台灣負責收期學生的資料、校閱，然後用 Fedex 寄到 SDSU 。現在回想起，那時候雖然覺得填寫資料很麻煩，但是才知道，比起好多的留學生、交換生，我們這群雙聯學位的學生們，幸福多了！

Cover letter 大家應該不陌生，找工作時它叫做「求職信」，目的是讓雇主在還沒看到履歷表前，可以先透過「求職信」認識你，在裡面找到「你為什麼對這個職務感興趣」以及「公司為什麼要錄用你」，最重要的則是，雇主會從中決定要不要「打開你的履歷表」；申請文件時也一樣，cover letter 有「附信」、「說明信」的意思，是用在與其他文件一起發送並進行充分說明或提供進一步信息的信函。

綠卡的表格及文件都備妥後，大概完成了綠卡申請進度的 90 % 唷！最後一步驟，就是寫一份 cover letter 附上清單，讓面試人員好整理，下面開始是我的 cover letter，可以按這裡直接下載，也可以直接複製下面的文字唷！

  6. Copied marriage certificate.
  7. Form I-693 of the Beneficiary (sealed medical evaluation).
  8. Form G-325A of the Beneficiary.
  9. Form I-864.
  10. Copy of individual income tax return of 2015.
  11. Copy of I-94.

IV. Form I-765 signed by the applicant, along with the following supporting documents:

  1. 2 passport photos.
