When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.

On the 22nd of August 2016, BIG and I are officially married by California state law, but our official family ceremony is still set for 10/10/16 in Las Vegas NV.

Since we didn’t know that much about Cali’s law, we found out even we paid for the license fee first, we still need a ceremony in California within 90 days, which means we cannot get the license and certificate as the time we want. According to the lady helping us and google, we found an elegant chapel by the court, we walked in and have our two people special moment. We dressed white, just like our pure hearts with full of love, only for each other, from that till forever.

I, BIG, take you, Carrie to be my wedded wife. To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness or in health, to love and to cherish till death part.

I, Carrie, take you, Mr. BIG, to be my husband, to have and hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish as long as we both shall live. 

We were so touched when we exchange the vows, we cried very happily. Yet, we didn’t prepare our own vows because we wanted to save that on our big day on 10/10/16. When BIG and I were thinking about getting married, the best part isn’t the wedding, it’s the idea of spending our lives together. And I know, from now on, there’s no me life, there’s just we life.
