Howdy! Here’s a brief history of who I am, what I do, and why we should be friends: I’m Carrie. I grew up in Taiwan, raised by two non-English speakers that decided it would be OK to let their little girl study MBA in the United States.
After dual master degree, I led my green energy company and founded GungHo School in Taiwan for almost three years. Unexpectedly, during a brief stay in the States, I met and fell in love with an Mexican American. After two years of long-distance relationships, now I live with my BIG in Los Angeles.
I hope you enjoy my website, CarrieHsu.com. Here, I write daily about my long transition from Taiwan (East) to the United States (West). And that’s why I named this blog: East Meets West.
In Confessions, I post daily about My Inspiration in the Morning and Monday things.
Here’s my boyfriend, whom I call MR. BIG. He enjoys shooting, fishing and loving me. (<three years later, this has not changed.) In October of 2016, we decide to turn into our new life chapter. You can find more about our story, which might interested about 7% of you but keeps me sane since I can write as much word vomit as I want.
I have a Pitbull named Dulce. She’s a cute trouble maker lady. You can read all about her misadventures here.
I love blogging. I love traveling, taking photos, and writing about what pops into my head as I see from “east meets west".
If your little heart desires, you can contact me- I like hearing from you. Emails can be sent to iamcarriehsu [at] gmail [dot] com. If you have a specific questions, please see the FAQs. I try super hard to respond to every email and comment I receive. The best chance of me responding to you is if you leave a comment on a recent post, or ask a question on Facebook. If you don’t have any questions you can read some Never Askd Questions. If you’re more into brevity, you can twit at me or if you’r the kind of person who prefers things square I’m now on Instagram.
One more thing: I love you.
Thank you for allowing me to share!
Love,
Carrie
